About the Event
David Shapiro, Senior Teacher Naturalist, Cape Cod will be leading the 90 minute tour. Programs run in most weather conditions, and only thunder, lightening and heavy rain cancel programs. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes/sneakers, sunscreen and hat. Bringing water is also advised.
The Sanctuary offers sandy beaches, butterfly-filled meadows, woodland trails and gentle, varied trails that lead to Barnstable Harbor which is flanked by the dunes of SandyNeck Barrier Beach.
There is plenty of parking but participants are free to work out carpooling if so desired.
